Beschreibung: Newsletter of the Sonic Anthropology Research and Synthesis Studio (SONARS), based at the University of Jena.

SONARS is a collective research space investigating the entanglement of ethnographic fieldwork, cultural analysis, media theory with artistic practice, and musical-poetic experimentation. We playfully explore how listening, recording, sampling and audio synthesis can contribute to anthropological inquiry.
