Über unsere Mailingliste erhalten Sie regelmäßig Informationen zum BMBF-geförderten Projekt OPTIMETA. Das Projekt widmet sich der Stärkung des Open-Access-Publikationssystems durch die Einbindung von offenen Zitationen und raumzeitlichen Metadaten aus Open-Access-Zeitschriften an offen zugängliche Datenquellen. Auf diese Weise werden wissenschaftliche Artikel aus Open-Access-Zeitschriften sowie ihre Metadaten stärker miteinander vernetzt, besser auffindbar und damit sichtbarer gemacht. Die technische Umsetzung erfolgt über die Entwicklung von zwei Plugins für Open Journal Systems (OJS) zur Erfassung und Übermittlung von Geodaten und Zitationsdaten (Geoplugin und Zitationsplugin).

Through our mailing list you will regularly receive information about the BMBF-funded project OPTIMETA. The project is dedicated to strengthening the open access (OA) publishing system by integrating open citations and spatiotemporal metadata from OA journals to openly accessible data sources. In this way, scholarly articles from OA journals and their metadata will be better interconnected, benefit from better discoverability and thus visibility. The technical implementation is carried out via the development of two plugins for Open Journal Systems (OJS) for the acquisition and transmission of geodata and citation data (geoplugin and citation plugin).
