As a member of the ESOVE ECP Network, you can:
- Share and discover opportunities: Post or receive announcements about job openings, fellowships, grants, and training workshops relevant to vector ecology.
- Stay informed about events: Get updates on ESOVE ECP meetups, webinars, conferences, and regional gatherings.
- Seek and offer advice: Ask technical questions (sampling methods, molecular tools, statistical analyses) or discuss career development challenges in a friendly, peer‑driven forum.
- Build your network: Connect with colleagues at a similar career stage to exchange ideas, form collaborations, and mentor one another.
Who Can Join
- Early career researchers, technicians, and practitioners working on mosquitoes, sand flies, ticks, tsetse flies, and other disease vectors.
- Graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and professionals within five years of completing their last degree or entering the field.
- Individuals employed in any sector (university labs, public health agencies, NGOs, biotech companies, etc.) whose work involves vector ecology, control, or related disciplines.
Code of Conduct
To ensure a respectful, inclusive, and constructive environment, all members agree to abide by the following guidelines:
Be professional and courteous.
Use welcoming, inclusive language. Respect differing viewpoints and experience levels.
Stay on-topic.
Post content relevant to vector ecology, career development, or ESOVE ECP activities.
Maintain confidentiality.
Do not share unpublished data or proprietary information without permission.
Supportive discourse.
Offer constructive feedback and avoid discriminatory remarks.
Report concerns.
If you encounter inappropriate behavior or content, contact the list moderators: esove_ecps-request@listserv.dfn.de
Failure to comply with these guidelines may result in removal from the listserv.
