wir freuen uns, Sie zum AgriDENZ-Webinar „From Evidence to Action: Mitigating Methane and Nitrogen Emissions in Ruminant Farming Through Breeding, Feeding and Behavioural Strategies“ einzuladen. Das Webinar findet am 12. Oktober 2026 um 08:00 Uhr CEST / 19:00 Uhr NZDT statt.
Im Webinar kommen Forschende des New Zealand Institute for Bioeconomy Science (BSI) und des deutschen Forschungsinstituts für Nutztierbiologie (FBN) zusammen. Moderiert wird die Veranstaltung von FBN-Vorstand Klaus Wimmers und BSI Chief Scientist Linda Johnson.
Folgende Beiträge erwarten Sie:
- Henry Reyer (FBN) – Milk urea concentrations as a proxy for selecting animals with less nitrogen emissions
- Suzanne Rowe (BSI) – Breeding for low methane-producing animals
- Björn Kuhla (FBN) – Willow supplementation for reducing ammonia, nitrous oxide and methane emissions
- Brent Barrett (BSI) – Investigating Biological Nitrification Inhibition potential in perennial ryegrass
